Joe Labbe’ Joe Labbe’ completed his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree at LSU in 2005 and began his professional career with WilsonMiller in Naples, Florida. While at WilsonMiller he gained over two years of experience in the conceptual design and development of several large-scale master planned communities located in Southwest Florida, the Caribbean and Nevada. He provided skills on site planning, planting design and construction document preparation for projects of both small and large scales, including Coyote Springs, a 42,000 acre master planned community located 50 miles north of Las Vegas. He worked on planning and site design as well as on-site landscape construction observation for the Jack Nicklaus signature golf course in Coyote Springs. Joe also worked for Eduardo J. Jenkins Landscape Architects and Planners in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, creating intimate designs of pools, outdoor kitchens and gazebos for high-end residential projects throughout the state.

Since joining JFDS in 2008, he has led design development and construction documentation on several major projects including the Louisiana Leadership Institute Athletic Complex in Baton Rouge. This project involved campus planning for a 25-acre site including a football field, practice field and a landscape plan for a band hall. He was also lead associate for Coquille Walking Trails in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, and the Hwy 57 Sports Complex in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. He has provided support on all office projects over the last two years including the North Boulevard Town Square and Perkins Road Community Park.
